Install S X1 Expanded or not ?

Just purchased Expanded. With all those posts, I wonder if it's worth to install or wait...
 
Also : is this installed just like a patch over X1c ?

    Come on in, the water's fine (mostly).     Just make sure you have the C patch installed, it's a prerequisite I believe.

    But my second question: do you simply double click and it install over X1c or is it a new install??...

    You just install over the top. :)
