V-Studio 700C and I/O Proud Owner

Hey all, I just wanted to let you all know that I have been a proud owner of the V-700 C and I/O units for over a year now, and I am very proud of the purchase.  I have many friends, some of which have Pro tools HD 3 set ups, and honestly, the V-studio C, and I/O unit performs just as well Imo.  The only thing is I only currently have 8 inputs I can record, but hey, that can easily be expanded so no woop there.  Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi to everyone, and that the V-studio, for those who are contemplating the purchase, Is a great buy, it is expensive, but, honestly, you can not get a set up that works as well, and looks as nice for the price.

Hey welcome and congrats Ace... I think there are a few of us here with the exact same perspective as you. It's the strength of the Sonar features and workflow that keep us with it while the V Studio hardware has been a long awaited addition that keeps us with Sonar as we get 'more' serious. It is hard to not be swayed by other impressive hardware options so thankfully X1 is still the best option for software IMO and the 700 gear then provides us some level of an integrated hardware solution. Cheers and enjoy!
