Live is hard to do.  You are getting better all the time.  I heard a better bass volume on this one than the last one of yours I listened to.  Either way, you're doing well on the live thing.

Cool tune.... I saw JMC before he was a star, here in NC ... I think he was the local winner of a TV station contest or something.

On the song.... The performance is good. Faithful to the cover as far as I can remember it.

The vox sound kinda hollow..... EQ issues lower the mids and raise the highs a bit..... loose the verb on it too, cause it's not working like it is.

Bass is too low... it needs to be fatter and shaking the floor.

    Not major issues....easy fixes.

Warren..........thanks for the kind words.    Live recordings can be a pain in the arse, lol !

Herb.............thanks for expressing your judgment on the mix.   I'll re-mix this and post later tonight if time allows.      The verb could be that I'm using to much of the room mic's, I don't really kinow for sure.  I will see what I can do with your suggestions.      Thanks again !

    Excellent version Tim

Cool performance, and a great take considering it's live.

A couple of dB on the bass would just do the trick.

    The performance is great!

The bass drum is buried and the bass seems fine. I think the vox sounds ok but maybe a touch to loud.

    Well done and good luck!

Steve...........Glad you liked it.  I didn't post the re-mix, but it did come out better with Herb's advice.     Thanks   :)

Robert.......Thanks for your time to commit.  I did a little EQ on the low end and it brought
out the kick more.    Vox came down when I lowered the room mic's.       Thanks again!

    i didn't re-post my 2nd mix because I figured I didn't want to bore anyone.
not that many replys............. :(   Oh well

Live is really hard to do... It's why I considered a career in the mortuary?

    I like the tune.

The tune is great.  What kind of flexibility do you have in the mix?  I assume this is live - how many tracks did you record?  I would add some air to the vocals.

bandontherun19...............It's a challenge,    thanks for like'in the tune!
    i don't know about work'in in a mortuary....:)   I'm a commerical electrian.

guitartrek.............I like the song too!     Everything I post is a live recording.  One take.
flexibility,  Well I.........   Mic'ed everthing on stage, plus the board mix and printed
the effects return's to channels.    I had two mic's hang'in from the light truss.
    22 channel's in all .   That's usually how I set-up for a live recording.
I don't end up useing all tracks, but it's nice to have if you need it!
    Thanks for listening !

Hey Tim - I like the song and performance, nice job.  As for mix, I agree with Guitarhacker about the low-mids on the vocals.  I think you could stand to add some high's in there and lose some of the low-mids
