BIG SALE CHOICE: NI's Session Strings Pro with Animator vs Kirk Hunter's Concert Strings 2
Gee, it is soooo wonderful to have two options highly discounted and a few days to make the choice! My main sticking point is playability, and for that I'm very interested in Animator, which is part of NI's pro... I want to concentrate on music/song production with strings as an "element" and am not skilled as an orchestral player... Plus I don't want to get bogged down in time consuming constructions, if you know what I mean...
I've already boughtk Kirks CB2 and Diamond with their 75% off sale, and they are quite stellar... also, the songs people are submitting to the KVR forum using Kirks stuff, especially the strings are absolutely fantastic, in particular, Andre Van Heren's stuff...

Animator seems well suited, at least in the Pro version, to really enable quick rhythmic strings and the 48 gigs size with round robins sounds way better than the basic 2.4gig session strings...

Both would be great but I need to choose... diversity/animator vs better quality I think are what it boils down to but what do you think?
Oh, choices choices...
Has Anyone used SS Pro? What do you think? How useful are the animator presets and is it's adjustability as intuitive as it appears in the limited videos?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated... trying hard to save a few duckets for xmas (ivory2 I hope!!!)
