Question for anyone using Chris Hein Horns

I purchased the soprano sax package and really liked it. It did not come with the Kontakt player which was fine since I have Kontakt 5. On the site, they have two versions of every package. The first one has the Kontakt player embedded and the second version is called an "add on." Since I have Kontakt I want to know if I can work with the cheaper "add on" instrument and get that alone or if there is something else about the full instrument besides the embedded Kontakt player that is required to play it.

I would really like to get the alto and tenor sax packages but don't want to either overpay needlessly or download software and find out I got a useless package even though I have Kontakt 5.

My understanding is that the first product in that library (CHH vol 1, 2, 3, 4, CHG, CHB, etc.) requires the "non-add-on", as that is how the library gets registered... then from there the add-on installs itself due to the fact that the initial library is registered... not sure of the mechanics of the whole thing, but I'm sure the installer or something fails if that first product isn't installed locally. You can email Chris to see if he'd make an exception, but I doubt it. All of his libs except for the soprano are registered libs, so you need some way to get that initial registration in there for each lib...

OK I suppose that makes sense. I emailed him a while ago and have yet to hear back so that is why I asked on here. I am just going to buy one full library version and one add on. Thanks.
