headphone problems

I have a pair of akg k240 s headphones, good stuff...when I bought them. I left them in a hot car and am not sure if the low end has dropped out of them because of this or not...any way to tell? I mixed something with these recently and it sounds WAY off from what I hear on the AKG k44 headphones. Are they that different? The k44's sound deeper...should they? Basically I need to know if my babies are trash.

You need to have another pair of them to test against.

It's hard to say something is shot just listening to it.....unless you have a cracked cone... which is obvious.... trying to determine that the low freq end is gone will be harder.

My suggestion, take them to a music store that sells the K240's and compare them on the same song.
