Geist or RMV as up;grade/replacement for DR-008

I use Sonar 8.5 and X1. I recently migrated to a new PC, and FxPansion DR-008 DXI did not make the migration. I want to replace/upgrade DR-008 with something that is up-to-date and currently supported. Basically, I used DR-008 for mapping samples to drum pads. I realize that LinnPlug RMV and FxPansion Geist provide much more than this basic feature. I am inclined toward RMV, since it includes percussion synthesis as well as sample playback. Geist is a sampler only, but is available as a 64-bit application, whereas RMV is a 32-bit app;lication. Any advice? thanks Keith

    I'm currently learning the demo of Geist and have it on order...it is quite a comprehensive piece of kit. It is also on sale for $149 this December. Why not download the demo, watch the video tutorials and see what you think?

    RMV is 64 bit on PC.
