I was going to pickup CamelPhat to go with my existing CamelSpace at AudioMidi using the "re-signing up" coupon they offered a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was "AM15" but it wouldn't accept it. Is that not it?? I emailed them about it but let me know if I just wrote it down wrong, will ya?

"AM15" is correct. Maybe it's been discontinued?

I had a severe case of G.A.S. and got it. Then I just said what the heck and pulled the trigger on Alchemy and the voices pack cause I had been eyeing it for a while.
I tried the am15 coupon again and they said it was not valid. I shouldn't complain cause I used it twice. Got BFD Eco for $14 with it and one of the Nomad plugs for $4 that I then turned around with the license and used to buy all of the Nomad plugs for $100.
Yes this is insane but it sure is fun!

OK I spent a few hours this morning playing with CamelPhat and CamelSpace. Absolutely worth it for me at least. They have a great set of presets to play with and the interface is really easy to grasp. I could probably do what it does with a string of plugs I already have but for this price point why bother? I was having so much fun I nearly missed an appointment I had.
I put my Ivory II Grand Yamaha C7 through CamelPhat and just started laughing cause it was so twisted in a good way. Definitely stuff that gave me some good ideas. Worked really well with Real Guitar LPC also.

http://www.camelaudio.com/camelspace.php listen to "prodigal teaser" that sorta thing , I guess ya know if you can do the stutter effect even via midi, we used to years ago.. hook up the ST to the Akai .. just send volume 127 and then 0 in quick succession :)

there is a preset in camel phat called "loop crop" which is gate like, which again would be good for that sort of thing.. I bought both as they compliment each other.. then I found out I had another £10 off as I'd bought alchemy pack of them ages ago :)

Haven't used it on vocals cause I don't sing myself. I have some stuff recorded I am going to use it on but I have not had the chance. Work is eating me alive right now which SUCKS. I want to play with my new toys!!! Ken

I couldn't get the exact stutter effect I was looking for but no problem - I used a sample from 'The King's Speech' :)
