This won't change the tempo of the project, it will just stretch and slow down the audio, perfect for learning parts.
Be alert, though: It is a destructive process. So, if you accidentally press Ctrl-S and then close, the tempo of the track is changed. You can of course shrink it back to original, but that takes some advanced mathematics. If 115% speeds the tempo by 15%, then shrinking by 85% does not bring it back to original.
Also, I don't know if stretching-shrinking decreases the audio quality.
