Hey Jenny (Pop)

Just a chilled tune, sorta suited more towards summer but what the heck, this was written for my girlfriend who subsequently dumped me while I was writing it... But anyway, changed the name and finished it off 'cos I like the song ;)

Hope you guys like it to - http://www.mikewhitemusic.co.uk/Hey%20Jenny%20MP3.mp3

OHHH! I'm going to the USA this summer - wanna help fund the trip? Buy a copy of my new single, TAKING MY CHANCES. http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/taking-my-chances-single/id487082390?uo=4

Thanks and hope you like the tune!

I like the tune. The bad boy in me is saying, "change the words and music to, be gone you useless wench" punk style or alternative.

The mix is good and nice pipes.

    Well done!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

nice tune. You might want to push up the kick, which is currently non-existent. To do that, use lots of compression with an attack of around 10ms, release at 1/4th of a beat (use a calculator). Sometimes it helps the kick  to put a dip in at around 500Hz, and a slight push at 80Hz.

In faux-mastering before the release we dropped it down a bit, the track didn't need in when we did an A/B. Might mess with this closer to the record's release in early 2013.

Mike your one of my favourite artists on this forum.

This stuff is not to some people's taste but I love these pop track you push out, they right up my alley.

This particular song is catchy and mixed very well without doubt and although I dont think it will become a anthem track or anything and send you to stardom it certainly would have its place as a filler on any pop rock album.

Sounds better than fantastic over here! Yeah, the kick is a bit low in the mix, but the overall sound is great!

Liked the way it started: Straight in, no messing. The jangly sound of the guitars made me think of REM at times. Nice. I like your vocals in this. The guitar break is just perfect. Good mix from where i'm sitting. Nice work Mike.
