Motu 4Pre

Has anyone had any experience with the Motu 4Pre? I like the unit over the MK3 because of the dual headphones.

I am thinking about purchasing either MK3, 4Pre, or Babyface (BF last choice becasue of money). Not too many vendors have 4Pre in inventory. I see 8th Street Music has them but I have never done business with them. Any reason why there are not too many 4Pre's in the market? Is it just a matter of more michrophone inputs on the 4Pre? Is the rest the same? There are no tech specs for the MK3.

Thanks,
john

I've been very intrigued by the 4PRE.  I have the ultralite MK3, but I've found it's lacking in the pres since there are only 2 pres on it, so I've considered buying a 4pre to put beside it in the rack and that would give me 6 total pres and 6 line ins.

Think I will wait on buying decision until after the Holidays...I notice that many of the electronic products I had in buckets at web sites have gone up...and in some case several hundred dollars (especially TV's). So much for good deals around the holidays. But then I did find MAudio BX8a's for $249.00 a pair.

I also took interest in the Eleven Rack because I am a guitar player...I am also curious on how it is for recording...anybody?

    Thanks for the input Beagle!
