15%? Not gonna set the world on fire with that offer. Not these days. C'mon, Aleksey, make it 50% and we'll talk.

I had the same reaction. These must be tough times for software developers.

Maybe the logic is flawed, but I've come to evaluate prices on a certain scale.

If the most essential piece of software I own is my DAW software - which includes over 80 plug-ins (most of them being of excellent quality and some being real gems), a wide variety of top-notch instruments and over 40 GB of content retails for $200, paying even just $100 for a single plug-in would have to mean that that plug-in is an absolute irreplaceable must-have.

email em , say... do you know I'm the flipper of bits? .. I request a super sized discount , due to all your rivals offering far better deals

they might take the hint like the makers of ozone..

not being funny.. some are doing 50% once a year.. perhaps they should cut their prices a bit for the rest of the year... esp. the download only ones, not like they even have to pay for packaging / shipping

I think they hope to catch the email crowd rather than the savvy forum watchers. The secondhand market is the best way with Voxengo.

I guess they all have to find a balance.. e.g. if stuff is highly discounted, it might put of previous users upgrading so quick.

not another DFS, when don't they have a sale ? hehe

DFS - Buy now. Interest free credit. Pay nothing for 4 years. Then we'll give a new one and pay off your mortgage, buy you a car, send you away on holiday, private school for the kids, top up your pension, pay your food bill for life, as well as all your utility bills. We'll decorate the rest of your home, pay for all your clothes and come around and cut your lawn and take the dog for a walk. We'll even remove the mother-in-law's tongue and control the weather. That's £0 at 0% interest forever.

I was kidding above. Voxengo has always been one place where non-wealthy folks could go for affordable quality. Even though his prices have risen substantially over the years, they're still very competitive. For example, Elephant, even when not on sale, is 1/2 the price of Ozone or Pro-L. Consequently, a 15% discount on Voxengo products would be equivalent to a 40% discount from FabFilter or iZotope.
