EZDrummer to Superior Drummer 2.0 Crossgrade for $79
Just wanted to let folks know that Amazon.com is selling a Superior 2.0 crossgrade from EZDrummer for $79. If you wanted to upgrade this seems like a pretty decent price. I think audiodeluxe.com might have a similar deal since Amazon is the fullfillment company for them for this.

Well that's the no-brainer price for sure.
I checked SweetWater and they are $199 for new users, and $229 for the cross-grade; WHAT?
Generally if Toon is running a deal, Sweet is all over it.
EZX's are $39 and SDX's are $99 (except the latest releases), if Amazon is not.
I know I love my Superior D!
Picked up a couple EZX's today actually, have all the SDX's, except the new releases.

Thanks for the heads-up... A no-brainer indeed.
A week or so ago I saw a deal for EZDrummer and two expansions for $99. I already have EZDrummer, so didn't save the link.
Don't know if it was one of those limited time "Black Friday" deals, but I'll try and retrace my steps, and see if it's still available.

Price on the Toontrack site for Superior Drummer is $349, but on Amazon it is $179.
So, this crossgrade price is an awesome deal at $79........

Well my crossgrade package arrived today from Amazon. I wish I had not worked so many hours under so much stress that I had the energy to install it right now. I remember the hassle I had in getting my install of EZDrummer up to a proper current 64 bit version. I just don't want to have to get into debugging mode with a toasted brain.
Before I proceeded I was wondering if anyone else had done the crossgrade and was running it as the latest release in 64 bits. I just want to know what headaches I may run into. I just am so frazzled right now I know I would not be able to solve any issues coherently if they came up.
On to the acoustic grand piano where there are never any debugging issues...;-)

Installing Superior Drummer x64 is as easy as 1 2 3... Just check your pathways and it will all be good... 100% stable too.... Now - get the NY Vol 2,C&V,Music City and Evil Drums SDX's and you'll be set  Gotta love those great sounding Superior Drums...They set the whole mix up....

Well you may have tempted me to brave it. Getting a second wind here and the thought of this software arriving and not getting test driven immediately is annoying to me :-) You say check my pathways and all will be good. What do you mean by that? I install all my 64 bit plugs to Program Files/Vstplugins on my system drive. Is there any reason that would not work? Does the distribution on the DVD's they shipped come 64 bit or does that require an additional two steps of work like EZDrummer sadly did? Ken

I installed it without any issues by doing the normal install off the disk and then downloading all the patches, applying them, and only after that did I authorize the software to run on my computer.
Works absolutely great. For those that got EZDrummer for the $29 special this $79 bump up is way more than worth it.
Sorry it does not ship to Canada. That really is absurd.

You can get the NY Studio SDX expansion library for $69 at audiodeluxe.com in case you are interested. That is a pretty nice price considering the list is $179.

The current "sale" on EZX's and SDX's stated right in the ToonTrack email that sale prices were NOT available on the web site.
I think they try to support their retailers, so you have to shop for the deal pricing.
$69 for the NY Studio is a no-brainer!

I picked up EZ Drummer because it's great to jam along with.... $29 is a silly price... Picked up the Classic EZX as well....That's pretty cool... But I got a smokin' deal on my 2nd copy Of Superior 2 and the C&V SDX... I had the original Superior Drummer with C&V and the C&V Add on... I'd already upgraded to S2 & C&V SDX from the originals,but I picked up a 2nd copy of the S2 upgrade - tied to the original C&V for $30 and a 2nd copy of the C&V SDX tied to the C&V Add on for $40.... With free shipping

+shipping for the VSSD box set of disks that you need for the crossgrade. I just picked N.Y. STUDIOS VOL.2 SDX Exp for $79.00 which I think is a decent price too.
