ESI/Ego Sys ESP1010e - PCIe Audio/MIDI Intrerface with Rackmount Breakout Box

Just checking to see if anyone is using this model sound card. A previous post said it had a latency of 2.5msec. Is that acceptable for Sonar X1c? I only have PCIe slots for cards, so my options for 4 or more analog in and out connections are limited. Any suggestions greatly appreciated pro or con on this sound card, or other suggestions

I've had it, and also have a few post of it here on the forum.
I just had to send it back to the retailer (thomann in Germany) because it behaved a bit strange - suddenly it just becomes silent and the cpu load is 0. no sound.

just click a few times in the audio settings and it is back.

I've used 4 ESI interfaces before, they have always been very stable and their drivers are good.
so probably I've just been unfortunate with this one :)

This sound card has been discontinued per the manufacturer and distributor and B&H Photo. Back to the drawing board.
