Cool video. If you did all this yourself then that's remarkable. The only critique I could offer is that the song itself sounded somewhat small or narrow coming out of my monitors. A little mastering magic would really give this a boost. Still, your lead vocal carries this tune.

    All the best,

Thanks, markno. Yeah, all the backing tracks are me. I programmed the bass and drums, though.

Glad you enjoyed it, Radio. No lip sync, I was actually singing it live there. I think the audio track unsync'ed a little when I did the video rendering, though.

Thanks, Lynn. I just did a quick mix compression in SoundForge, not truly mastered. Eventually, I'll remix and do some multiband compression to liven it up some, maybe.

You like that scream, 7 String? Come to think of it, it's the only part of the vocal sort of dubbed in. I'm still getting over bronchitis and I tried it a couple of days before and it wasn't very good, but the scream killed, so I kept that and dubbed it over the second take. You're hearing both screams, but the older one a little louder. The first take I lost my voice completely after that scream and couldn't even sing the ending. The second take, I barely could sing the ending. Thanks for listening and watching, everyone. I have like 88 of these backing track covers I've done, so once my voice comes back, I plan to do a video or two a week all 2012 long! I'll throw in an original here and there, too.
