Great tune. I liked it a lot. Nice xmas music :).

Only comment I might have, and it may be my computer speakers, is the bottom end, especially the kick, was just a little light. I want to give it a listen on my system when I get home.

Again, great tune and mix. thanks...

Vettetech, thanks for the listen and comments. The drums are just tad lower than I would have liked. I used EZ Drummer and had so many volume spikes that I just couldn't get the volume I would have liked.

Guitarpima, thanks a lot. Really appreciate the comments and glad you like it.

The drums sound fine on my old Alesis Monitor Ones.  This is what you look for in a heavy metal production.  The tones were clear and cutting.  The performances are very well done, and the vocal has punch.  Nice job.

Hi Chas. Love that deep full guitar and the synth overlay is really great. The first bit of the lead guitar sounds small compared to the rest of the track at times but the main solo sounds good. A small nit on a killer tune. Merry Christmas.

nice idea, it's basically an old-fashioned 70s/80s rock tune but the ueber nasty synth brings it kicking into the 21st century...very good mix too.

Nice mix (the kick could use a kickin in the butt IMO), Guitars sound nice and full!  Did you use an amp sim or is that mic'd cab?  I love the vocals.

    Great mix Chas.

    No crits on the mix/mastering.

Have you considered some harmonies on the hook/resolve?

rhyno, thanks for listening and for your comments. I actually added the low guitar fill after I first posted the song. I wanted it to be way in the background. Will have a look at upping the volume. I've also thought of deleting it as well.

mgh, thanks for your comments. Yes, the song is really just rock & roll with some metal guitar sounds.

Chuck, thanks a lot for your kind comments. I used Guitar Rig 5 on the guitar. It really has some good sounds, especially the metal. Hope your booze cruise is not as long as mine.

Bapu, thanks a lot. Appreciate that because I have heard some great mixes from you. I tried some harmony on the song but didn't like it. For some reason it sounded too sweet to me. But I still feel it needs some. Will relook at that.

Yep mix sounds really good on my computer speakers.

You've done great work with this.

Your vocals sound just right for this track too.

    Well done.

I have an anal personality and can't let go of things, so I took some of the advice offered here, along with one or two ideas of mine, and remixed. If you're waiting on Godot and have nothing do, have a listen. Thanks again.

Whoa... I just listened for the first time now, and have to say, Chas, that this was a really exceptionally good tune.  Total kick-a$$ feel on this end.  My suggestion: don't touch it, it's perfect!

    Hey, Charlie,

Killer job on this very punchy, heavy rocker, buddy!

Excellent songwriting, nice thick, crunchy guitar tones, great playing, dynamite vocals and harmonies, and the mix sounds fantastic.

Outstanding job on this, Charlie, have a Happy New Year, my friend!
