Do you think Santa rides a Hog? (now with proof!)

Somehow I think it's his style!

It's not a Christmas tune but hopefully this will get Santa in the mood to deliver all those presents to all the good boys and girls of the world!

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
PS: If you ever play a biker gig, make sure you play this one last! They all get on their Harleys and leave. It was an outside gig and we almost couldn't hear ourselves play. lol!

I rode a soft tail, and then a road king :-) And used to do this when I played in a band "back in the day."

I never rode a Harley. I had a Puch that was pretty cool when I was younger!

That was a nice ride! My iPhone with 10" sub woofer really kicks this one out! Yep, this is the heaviest phone I've ever owned.

Nice work, guitarpima. I, too, used to do this number years ago. The song needs more volume, IMO, and would make it better I think. It needs a maximizer I think.

I agree with chasmcg.  After spending the afternoon listening to songs on this forum, I'm beginning to tell who has their mastering chops and who doesn't.  Your performance is fabulous, and therefor, it deserves a first class mastering.  CW has good mastering tools, but I prefer Soundforge/Ozone for finalizing my mixes.  Once you get it going with mastering you'll be ready to conquer the world.

Hey Robert very cool buddy ! Hey I had this dream last night all my Marijuana plants had faces attached to them and they were bouching around singing to your song " Born To Be Wild " .
Seeds were flying off of them and hitting the dirt then suddenly baby marijuana plants started growing and dancing around singing too .

Wow what a dream , I woke up higher then a kite just listening to this tune of yours !

Wild , my favorite song ! Good job on this one Robert .

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I appreciate it very much.

I had it louder but I second guessed it and brought it back down a bit. I try not to get it too loud and have the peaks at -0.01. I was second guessing the percieved loudness though.

I wish I had dreams like that Radio. Mine are apocolyptic mostly and that drives me crazy. Even worse, I had a dream last night where I was speaking to the congress and telling them to stop thinking of themselves and their wallets and start thinking of the people that put them there. (no joke) Then there are the "other" dreams. The cool part about dreams is sometimes you can hang out with Halle Berry. ;-p

Hi Rob. This rocks hard. Oh man...I hope I have a weird dream too. The guitar tone is perfect in this with that warm slight fuzziness. The solo rules and the bass is killer. You're a quite a music making machine Rob. Merry Christmas.

    Good cover.

Seems about 5bpm slower than the original. I want it to be faster even if it was not slower than the original.

It's obvious that you're very good at covers and you play them well.

This is my fave of yours so far. Those guitars sound fabulous.

The vocals are brilliant for this track.

    Awesome solo on the guitar.

    Good work all-round.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!

Blipp, I'll tell my friend Mike (the paramedic) you liked his vox. :-)

Rhynosynth, thanks for the bass comment. I started as a bass player.

Notnat, I try to keep it under control but this one was sort of off the cuff. I always just made them up as I went along for this song.

Bapu, I should have thrown and am chord in there too. lol!

Fantastic!  Great vocals and all performances on this one.  Love the guitar solo!  I almost wondered if you'd wanna sound 'tougher' when you're singing this one.  At any rate, you can certainly sing, so who cares.  lol

Thanks Janet and Starise! Much appreciated.

@ Janet, That's my friend Mike (the paramedic) singing and he does pretty good. He get's better everytime I ask him to sing a tune for me. :-)
