A Christmas present... I may not be able to part with!

So I'm currently prepping my youngest daughter's new laptop for Christmas, and the more I play with it, the more I'm just loving it. To begin with, I'm not a laptop dude but rather a desktop/rackmount type and was never impressed by what laptops had to offer. I had a list of 4 laptops I wanted to check out at the store and a budget range of $750 to $1000 CDN. She's getting involved into video editing (through a school program) and also likes to game once in a while (she's reasonable about it... or else), aside the usual word processing stuff and social networking etc...

I'm also a late shopper, always have been and always will be. So as you can imagine, my list of laptops went out the window after 15 minutes in the store because they just couldn't deliver in time for the big day. I ended up checking out some higher end "in store" models and finally settled on an Asus N73SV-A3, which wasn't suppose to be but then I guess she won't mind at all.

My problem now... is that I don't want to give it away anymore. Wow is all I can say!
