sonar 8.5 pe dimension pro crashrin

dear all,

I finally secured myself a midi controller to use with my sonar 8.5 pe.   Its awesome to be able to control the synth instruments in realtime and finally feel some of the power available in dimension pro / rapture, etc...
Now to my problem.    Now that I'm using dimension pro with some regularity it is frequently crashing.   I don't have much information .... it crashes when I'm rocking out using my A300pro, or even just during playback.   i get the standard windows error saying dimension pro x64  has crashed etc.

Please does anyone have any tips to help me get past this?   i just got my A300pro today and dimension pro has crashed sonar 3 times this evening.  

yeah, I realize I didn't have the best details in the description,  but I didn't have a lot to go on.      I don't know which version of dim pro I have,   its whichever version comes with sonar 8.5 pe.     Anyhow, this morning I tried installing the update which is 1.5.    I am running it as 64 bit so the synth comes up as Dimension Pro x64 in the rack.

Unfortunately, since the update I get the same error pre and post update: (and I quote :) )...

A fatal error has occurred.
Module: C:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins\Dimension pro\Dimension Pro x64.dll

This crash occurred when I was auditioning one of the the drum grooves by holding a note on the a300pro and listening to a couple of bars.

Hi all, I was inspired to try and figure this out again. The big update is that only certain programs within dim pro crash. Moreover, it seems that instruments that have many layers (like a drum loop) are the ones that cause the problem. Playing single layer instruments doesn't seem to cause any problems.
