Can't get Music Creator 5 to recognize Independence VST

I am trying to get Music Creator 5 to recognize Yellow Tools Independence as a VST but Music Creator doesn't seem to find the VST plug in from Independence.
Any suggestions?

How are you trying to find it?
Go to the Tools>Plug-in Manager. Click VST Configuration>Options. Click Add and browse to the Independence file location on your hard drive. Add that to the list, click OK and click Scan VST Plug-ins. Is that what you already tried?

Yeah, as Greg pointed out, all new VST's must be scanned after they are installed.

Cake needs to know they are there and where the DLL file is located. Using the plug in manager is how you get that done.

    Thanks for the response folks!
I have already tried that and when Music Creator opens it shows that it is scanning the VST plug un folder in yellow tools.
But once Music Creator is open Yellow Tools independence is not available or even listed.

The folder with the DLL file for Independence must be added to the list in the plug in manager and scanned.

If it's an audio effect it will show up in the Audio Effects list and not the Synth..... there are 2 different lists. Be sure you're looking in the correct one. If it's a synth it will not be in the audio list.

I've heard good things about Independence Free, so I tried to download it.
Unfortunately, my German is very rusty, and the translation failed due to a server error.
So, I am kind of guessing here.
It most likely downloads as a zip or RAR file. Did you extract it?
There may be an installation that has to be performed before the VST is available to MC5.
Do you see any executable files, such as setup.exe?
If you are scanning the correct folder, and MC cannot find the .dll, that suggests that the .dll is not yet in a usable form.

    Ditto on Roberts comments.

More than one time, I have downloaded a new "toy" and extracted it to a folder. Then I would add the folder and scan it..... and it would not show up. Turns out there was an "install" procedure that I had not completed. Once I figured that out and completed it, the new toy showed up.
