Although usually not my favorite style, I really enjoyed this tune. Probably because it was so well done. Nice songwriting, performing, mixing and mastering. The vocal was perfect and easy to understand, which I really appreciate. Great work.

The kick could move back a hair and bring the guitar forward some.

Definitely pop punk. But you don't sing with enough marbles in your mouth...green day proved you don't have to make sense at all to make a hit song. LOL! Good work.

It's not always easy to write and record a pop song, but you managed to pull it off quite well. I like the mix as is. But, be sure to listen on as many systems as you can. I like to burn a CD, and play it in my car going down the highway with road noise in the background. If you can still hear the lyrics, bass, and drums you are halfway there. I've noticed that's about all you can hear with the best produced CDs under those circumstances. Job well done.

    All the best,
    Lynn

lol, even for you this sounds more like an outtake from the Green day album! you have this nailed down, Mike, i love the fun bubblegum-pop tunes you put together. this sounds a little narrow, but maybe it's a radio mix? mix levels are spot on.

    Mike,
Great job here man, I really like the song and I have been into (and playing) punk rock for 20+ years.  I m just getting ready to jump out to work and gave it a listen on the laptop speakers.  Back vox sounded a hair low but given the crappy speakers I don't know if I trust that observation.  Everything else sounded dead on.   This is a great mix.  Ever heard of the band Reliant K?  Ya kinda have a pop punk flavor that reminds me of something bettween that and MXPX.  Both cool bands!
    Nice job!

Well I listened to this this morning with my coffee, and I must say that I'm feeling ready to go.
Nice job on this. To me it sounds very well produced.

Definitely has a Green Day and also a late '70's Punk feel to it.
    Nice one indeed!
