Does anyone know how to record video/audio for a Sonar session using Fraps?

I want to make some videos of me working in Sonar, but so far using Fraps I can ONLY record the video. I've tried choosing different audio drivers in Sonar (thinking maybe when I choose to 'record windows audio' in Fraps that the Sonar drive has to be set as the same output Windows 7 is using). I've also made sure to select that Sonar will share drivers with other programs.

I can record audio/video of any games I play (and so Fraps is obviously recording the audio running through Windows 7), but when I record while Sonar is running I can't quite get the audio to record in Fraps...

I've seen some tutorial vids online for Sonar, but for some of them it looks like the audio from the DAW is being picked up by the same mic that's being used to record the voiceover for the tutorial...  I could have sworn maybe that there were some tutorials out there, where the audio from Sonar is taken from a direct output within the software itself.

That all being said, has ANYONE figured out a way to record a Sonar session using fraps (audio + video, in real time)? I realize that I can always PLAY BACK a session, record the video, and then just sync up the final audio from it to the exported video. I was able to do that with one of the songs I produced back in 2008, just to give to the artist to remind him what their song looked like in Sonar... See below:

EDIT: Here's another video I did showing a final constructed drum track I made using Drums on Demand, which I'll use to track piano/strings to, for a cover of Hey Lady (Thriving Ivory). I just recorded the video in Fraps (no audio) and then synced up the exported audio to the video in video editing software:

Not quite what I'm trying to accomplish tho... I wanted to record a video of me editing in real time a piano performance or acoustic strings performance (MIDI) to show how those sorts of tracks can be tightened up, have corrections made, notes added/removed, made to be more 'in the pocket', etc, without re-recording an entirely new take...
