The studio is in my front room, so i miced the kit up with 2 room mics, along with 2 over heads, the room mixs i added reverb to.apart from that very stand mic set up,bass Di'ed .guitars sm57 and a rhote nt1

    That's a great sound James, really like your guitar tones (playing too). Drums are excellent, but might be just a hair too loud, or need a little more room to bed them in a touch? Nit-picking really 'cos this does sound very good indeed.

    good stuff, James! 

    the mix sounds muddy to me, lots of low end, mid low stuff going on.  you could clean that up a little by giving each of the instruments some EQ breathing room.  the drums are good, IMO.

    Playing sounds great.
    I suspect if there are some vocals in this, the noticeable lack of top end might not be such a problem.
