First Mix with Sonar X1

We're well past Christmas but I'd appreciate any constructive criticism that you might have on this mix. Thanks!

I thought the mix really sounded good. Everything seemed to have it's own place.
The musicianship was very good as well.
If it was mine to mix the only thing that I would consider changing would be to lower the tom hits which to me sound to abrupt when they happen, compared to the rest of the mix.

It's a Charlie Brown Christmas.  But seriously, this version is terrific.  The performances, the tones, and the mix are very well done.  I don't have a problem with the tom hits on my monitors.  One of the best Christmas songs of the year, and btw, little Christmas is today.  Time to take the  tree down.

All the best,
Lynn

Nice version, but I thought about everything was off. Drums too loud, especially the bass drum, rhythm instruments verily existent,  and the bass a little, but the leads were well out in front both the piano and guitar. Except for the drums, and the lead guitar and piano, everything else seem to be lost in the background way to far (except perhaps the bongos whatever.)

Really good musicianship, absolutely loved the piano. Others are far better qualified to critique the mix, but if I heard this played on the radio I would think it sounds every bit as professional as anything else you hear. And really, really well played.

+2 or 3 depending on how many toms there are.

Other than that, nice job.

Excellent version, love the piano in this. Drums are little loud overall to my ears.
