Loops and groove clips

Hi, I am a complete newie to this.  I play an acoustic guitar and sing but I would like to add a little bit of interest to my songs by adding loops or groove clips but nothing I have tried fits in with my song.  Is it possible to change the tempo of the pre installed loops, groove clips in MC5 so that they play in time to the beat of my recording.
Thanks

The clips and loops are what they are. Changing them is not easy or practical.

A better option would be to use something like Jamstix for drums, or perhaps Band in A Box.

I have and use both in my writing.

BB has over 3000 styles so you're sure to find something in there that is close to what you are hearing.....although I must admit, BB does have it's limitations and I have come across some songs that don't seem to fit into any of those 3k styles. BB does have the ability to "play" the other instruments for you in that style..... bass, drums, piano, and more.

Jamstix is simply an artificial intelligent drummer.... very cool and expressive. But with it you will only get drums.
