Sikyi Groove

I love African music (all types of music really), and came across this basic "Sikyi" African rhythm in a guitar book.  My brother and I incorporated it into an original song.  Instruments are a baritone ukulele (playing basic riff), 8 string tenor ukulele, doumbek and pennywhistle.

    This was a very pleasant tune.  Production sounds top notch too.  Great job guys!  Love the name "Pairadox", lol.

    very nice... as are many of your other tunes I've listened to... very creative...
    on this one, I'd back off the HH a bit... and add some room ambiance to it... love the instrumentation...

    I like this a lot. I'm a fan of African music too and a also really enjoyed Soukous African Groove. You've got a lot of cool music.

    Thanks for the comments and input.  This is a great forum. 

    Geeare1: There's something  about Soukous music where you can't help but start dancing.  Actually need to work on the guitar part on The Soukous African Groove.  I'm not a lead guitar player at all.
