Incredible stuff. Not my thing but I can still appreciate it.

One comment. On Symphony #6 Variations, right from the start and at multiple spots throughout, there is a very low buzzing almost like a voice or a ham radio coming through the right channel. I couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was but it almost sounds like some type of interference. I just listened to a few other tunes from the forum and other members and this is the only one that did it. Maybe just me but you might want to check it.

    But again, great stuff.

I like how Symphony 6 starts, but the buzzing techno like sound, disturbs the mood, I would add a little more reverb (as symphonies are played in great big halls)   , but just a little, and add deeper strings, ah, I can hear it now, can you?
7 is good as well, but the beginning sounds rather plain, perhaps a more polished violin sound or 2 octaves at the same time.
    But overall, great work.

Great piece of work.  Which strings did you use?  I love the diversity on this forum.

I listened to Symphony 6..this is a really fine composition and arrangement, excellent work.

As noted above though, there is a very odd noise panning quickly from one side to the other, a kind of 'squirty' buzzing..is that intentional? Doesn't seem to fit.

Taste in music is like taste in food, entirely personal and subjective.  You'll have to write your own symphonies to get them exactly the way you want them!

Yea I'd like to know what strings you used as well.  I like the electronic stuff, I'm heavily into this idea of having to add electronica to "classical" style music.  It helps keep the wheel turning.

    Nice job

I used Vienna Symphonic Library's Pro Edition for both pieces.  Since that time, I am now using the newer VSL symphonic cube.

    Glad you enjoyed the music,

Two octaves would completely ruin the effect I was going after, and that I believe I achieved.  Octaves don't add harmonic interest, only "largeness" and volume.  Most orchestrators abuse octaves habitually by substituting octaves for some other musical element that is deficient.  The "plain" beginning is what I chose to create, I wanted a simple, sparse effect, not a wall of sound that most beginning producers and orchestrators use indiscriminately.
