MP3 Encoder update for SONAR VS ?

Hello everyone,
 
Im new to this forum. Great that there is a special forum for VS-100 users, by the way.  Recently I tried to save recorded audio as MP3 in SONAR VS, that came with my SONAR V-Studio 100. I got a msg though that i needed to update or activate the MP3 encoder. I checked out at the Cakewalk website but cant find the Sonar VS product mentioned among the other products. Do I need to purchase an MP3 encoder or can I just activate it and does anyone know which encoder in particular I need then?

    Yep!  .....a problem!
    An mp3 encoder is not included -you have to buy one, well you dont actually....I export the Wav file into Audacity, trim it, compress it and mp3 it. It works for me! Good luck!
