Please Come Home for Valentines!
I started working on this song about six months ago with the personal goal to post it before Christmas. Well if you don't already know this, Christmas has come and gone. I had some help on this one from Mark and Warren and a special vocal contribution from my 7 year old daughter. Hope you like it. Click the link below the songs at the top of the list. Rich

Very creative. I was laughing every time that happened. I was laughing because it was such an original idea. Great idea and your daughter really delivered. You really got your vocals spot on, Rich. Man, I love this tune, Christmas or Valentines. I lost the Presidents Day on the first listen. Tell her the band said she did a wonderful job!

LOL. If that's not your daughter then you're sucking on too many balloons. Nice job.

Hmmm.... those first four notes were a complete give away, though. It was very enjoyable to hear your daughter on this one!! Great tune! Great singing and production. Nice guitar tone as well.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. I crack up laughing every time I listen. Don't let my silly edits diminish our attempt on a classic song. Unfortunately, I had some personal baggage that prevented me from finishing the song on time. I didn't want to wait 12 months to post so I took the liberty to personalize it for valentines. Warren did an awesome job on the Bass part and Mark's guitar tone on the solo was exactly the flavor I wanted for the piece. At least our real attempt is ready for Christmas 2012! Rich

Loved it. Especially your daughter's contributions. Reminds me of the year my son wrote us all a Christams song. Same song but each person had their own slot ion lines like "Merry Christmas <Mom|Dad|Sis|Brother|Uncle|Aunt|Grandma|Grandpa> <-replace with names"

Great job Rich, love the additions from your daughter. Awesome soulful job on the main vox. Great voice. Instruments and mix were spot on as well.
