MC 6 is it good for midi?

Hello,

I don't call here often but when I have I've always been given reliable advice. So once again I have a couple of questions, they are regarding MC6. At present I only use Midi for my home music production. Does MC6 have all the midi capability of previous releases? Is there still the option of boxed version versus download? If so, what are the differences.

Many thanks for any help you can offer.

Regards

Taran.

Yes.

MC6 is the same in many ways as the former MC product line.  There are more samples now included in it's libraries, and loops and some other "more complete" loops for use in building song sections.

Depending on what version of MC you have....... MC5 and now MC6 come with Cakewalk Sound Center which is a really nice synth that uses sampled instruments and cake is making more libraries for that synth to expand on the basics that come in the box.

MC is still limited to 8 active synths in the rack and the track count is limited as well.....compared to X1.

Cakewalk will only sell you a download version (I think), but you can probably get a boxed MC 6 in your local electronics store or amazon.com.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.

You should have the download link shortly.

After the download..... be sure to burn the files to a DVD for safe keeping.
