How good is the v-studio 700 integration with X1 compared to 8.5

I've seen that there have been some complaints about the eq control (sonitus vs. pro channel), but what about editing, view buttons and other features?

The new patch should be interesting :)

Yes, maybe I should have waited a couple of weeks with my question to get a uppdated answer
Can't afford a V-studio right now, but I hope Cakewalk will support this unit for a long time. It's looking soooo good!

    It is awesome!

Do you mean the integration with X1 compared to 8.5??? Is X1 it better or worse than 8.5?
Or just that the V-studio 700 is awesome?

The integration is about the same from 8.5 to X1. I don't recall losing any features and X1 has speed up my recording process so much. And yes, The VS 700 is Awesome!
Very excited to see what the update has in store for VS-700 and X1.    Hopefully it will come sooner than later.

The X1 D update is supposed to address several issues that exist with the  X1 platform and the VS700 system. Some functionality with X1 in regards to the V700 console are not quite there as of yet. Several were addressed in X1 C. The VS 700 is seamless in 8.5.3. I have both platforms and I really like X1. The only reason I haven't switched the DAW box over to X1 is because I need a bigger C drive to host  both 8.5.3 Producer and X1 Producer Expanded. I like to keep my OS and DAW host on the same drive and still have enough room for the current project. All us VS 700 owners are waiting for this release. The VS 700 system is a top of the line system and will be for years to come if you ask me.

    Hi Craig !

Hope you are doing well ?
Do you not run your projects off a separate drive ?
Hope you dont mind me asking....
Just Curious as I thought it was always a case of eg... Drive C:\ OS and programs. D:\ Audio and If you have a third then E:\ samples
