Is it possible to install included VSTI's without installing X1

As the title says, I am hoping that I can install the Cakewalk VSTI's without installing Sonar X1 (from my leagally purchased retail box version). After trying X1 I prefer to use a different DAW that is easier for me to use, (to each his own eh?) but I really like a couple of Cakewalk's VSTI's.  Is this possible?

choose the custom install option, and select the components you want

Or install X1 and don't use it.  It is fairly small, if you install DimPro etc. anyway.

Just as a note, that some of the included vst's in Sonar are locked to Sonar and can not be used in other daws.
Which is not a bad thing, because some other daws out there have all of there vst's locked to there software only.
Cakewalk at least gives you some flexibility there.

Wasn't Dim Pro a separate installation in X1?  I'm starting to lose track.

Yes, DimPro has always been a separate install even before the X series.
