 hi i have mc5
 
my midi keyboard is being fixed does anyone know if you can use the qwerty keyboard as a controller

    not without a 3rd party program like bome (www.bome.com ) but it's not free.

    you can enter notes in the PRV or Staff view with you mouse, tho.

    I've seen brand new midi keyboards at the big box stores for around $60. 

    They probably are not weighted keyboards but they sure beat mousing it in. 

    Check the want ads too.... people sell those things cheap after the kids lose interest in them.
