CAkewalk Pyro 2004 won't recognize wav from a TASCAM DR-05 handheld digital recorder. Gives msg "Pyro cannot use "xxxx.wav" because it does not appear to be a valid audio file." iTunes recognizes the same file as wav, and even Pyro itself, IF the file is converted to say WMA first by Windows Media and then it will oblige to convert it back to wav . What could've left Pyro '04 behind as file formats have stayed the same as far as i know, and i have experimented with different kbps, 16/24-bit etc combinations from the TAscam?
