Sonar LE 6 Set Up With Allen & Heath ZED 24

My Allen & Heath ZED 24 came with Sonar LE 6.  I've been trying record with it but have been having some problems.  I have follow all the instructions in the manual and the Help tips with the sonar program. I've also tried to do the tutorials that come with it.  However, no solutions to my problem.

I was able to set it up to be able to record one track.  But when I try to record a second track, everything I recorded on the first track also records in the second.  Its frustrating!! I can't figure out why this happens, or how to fix this!  Also, the input monitoring does not work.  Can't fix the echo problem.  I tried doing what the Help instructions advice but no fix.

I'd really appreciate any advice or solution to this problems!!  Thanks!!

    Welcome to the forum.
Did the Zed come with a drivers and/or software disk?
Under Options>Audio, what is selected for both Recording Timing Master and Playback Timing Master?
What Driver Mode are you using?
You should be able to monitor from the A&H without using input monitoring in SONAR.
The echo is latency. What is the latency set to under Options>Audio? If using ASIO drivers, you would click on the ASIO Panel button to set the Zed's latency; if WDM or MME drivers, there will be a Latency slider to adjust the latency.
The 'recording what is already recorded on another track' thing is probably a setting on the Zed. I see that there are several different output setting options, but I don't know which one you need to use.
Just so you know, despite the name, you won't be able to record more than a stereo or 2 mono tracks in SONAR using the ZED; it can only output one stereo or 2 mono channels at a time. Great for live sound, though.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.
