NOW Dimention Pro will not load!?!

OK, I am having quite the time loading X1. I got Beatscape squared away first after an hour. Now Dim. Pro says it detects an older version and will not load. It directs be to the 1.5 update but it will not run either. What can I do to just freshly install it? I am totally lost here...help again please! Thanks so much David

    Sounds like you have dim pro le installed david, try delete that (maybe you have to just delete the .dll file and then install dim pro, remember to have your serial numbers etc

    Also remember to run X1 as administrator or it will say your authorization code for Dim Pro is invalid, although it is the correct code. I ran across this while trying to install mine.

    In order to completely remove earlier versions of DP, you must delete a few registry keys.

    Thanks fellas...I ended up having to reload windows and will be doing a fresh install of everything. I am fairly computer savy and deleted EVERYTHING, including going meticulouly through the registry, but it STILL showed I had a previous version. So at some point this weekend I will try loading the whole thing AGAIN...hopefully...please cross your fingers with me! Thanks again!

    Did you do a Registry Search for the keys mentioned in the thread I linked?

    That will most surely get you sorted.

    In my opinion, I think starting with a fresh new installation of Windows is the best way to move forward from one major version of SONAR to the next.

    However, it is smart to have a backup program, such as Acronis True Image, in case you make your money with SONAR, so you can backup the entire system drive before you re-install Windows for the upgrade.
