Newbie needs Session Druumer 3 set up help!

(Yes, I've seached this forum and found nothing)   I could really use your help in the basic setup of SD3.  Track inputs and outputs, drum map, Midi and/or audio.  Thanks.

Thanks for responding Steve.  Checked out the tutorials on YourTube but they all presume I know how to set up the softsynth etc.  I realized that my problem is just basic softsynth set up so I'm doing something unusual...I'm checking the sonar users manual!!! Making progress. Thanks Again

Larry:  Make sure you check out this tutorial about how to use soft synths in Sonar.  It is very basic but it may help you see what you are missing.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjwN3gP3IbM

Here is another tutorial, but check out the previous one first.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Xw1YKcnUQ4

And here is another page from a Youtube search (almost identical to the one twaddle gave you).  Once you have loading & using soft synths down, you should check out the video tutorials some more:.  http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=session+drummer+3+sonar+x1&oq=Session+Drummer+3&aq=2&aqi=g5g-m2&aql=&gs_sm=1&gs_upl=5222l12399l0l14891l21l21l2l4l4l0l101l1267l14.1l15l0

Even after you have figured it all out, it is sometimes helpful to go back and watch some of these videos.  I always find something new to learn.

Good luck and keep us posted as to your progress!
