I don't recognize the song but it sounds great on my laptop. The panning of the drums does seem off, though ( as James mentioned )

Ok well sung and well played, I am a little ambivilent though towards the overall track, there is just not enough in terms of hooks to get me in.
I don't know about the snare either, also there seems to be some distortion going on when the full drums kick in. I may have been listening to the low-fi version of the track though I can't tell.
But keep them coming the playing and the singing are excellent.

Don't know this one Paulo, but I really liked the song/performance! Lot more sound is coming out of my left speaker, but maybe that was your intended mix? Like the dynamics in this song..goes from pretty to in-your-face.

Yup, Razorlight...nice cover Paulo, you've given it a cool twist. Through my headphones there's some distortion on the louder sections. Love the acoustic guitar.

Listening on the pc speakers it sounded good to me. I really liked the build and the way it got so big on the chorus.

Radio - thanks - glad you enjoyed. james - dunno why it's coming across like that - I can hear what you mean, but it's panned down the middle. Any ideas ? geeare - thanks for the ears - drums are panned down the middle according to the meters so I'm not sure why it sounds off. lynn - yeah it is a great tune - I liked it the very first time I heard it - glad I didn't butcher it for you ! Ben - thanks for the ears and the comments - don't think I've had the pleasure before ! I'm surprised that you don't find it hooky enough as the guitar part was stuck in my head from the very first time I heard it on the radio - although admittedly I have slowed it down a little. The distortion is deliberate, but maybe I overdid it, so I'll take a look at that. Janet - thanks as always - cool is always good ! Tim - thanks for checking it out. Not sure why it's leaning left as the only thing actually panned left is the acoustic guitar (about 30% from memory) and even that is doubled and panned right at low volume to try and make it sound bigger. Not saying you're wrong - just don't know why it sounds that way - maybe I need to bring the left panned track in a little ? Clean - thank you - glad you liked. Larry - thank you for your expert ears - the acoustic part is meant to be left-sided, but not the whole thing. I'm not sure why it's doing that though. Glad you liked the switches in dynamics - I was quite pleased how that turned out I must admit. Bruce - thanks man. It is a good song - wish I wrote it ! You're not the only one to mention the distortion - it is deliberate, but maybe I overdid it. How others hear it is exactly what I want to know - so I have no problem at all with that. James - thanks man - yeah looks like I need to dial that distortion back some . Glad you liked the slight twist on the original - I was aiming for slightly slower with a bigger dynamic difference between the sections. Philz - thanks for the listen - not seen you around here much of late apart from the CHB's last outing. Yeah, big was the aim, so I'm glad it seems to be working for people.

Thanks for the ears and kind words Grant. Seems that I overdid the distortion on the choruses, others have mentioned it too, so I'll be dialling that back a bit as soon as I have time.

I don't know the song but I like it. You do some really nice tunes, Paulo. This is one of them. I like the arrangement a lot! Vocals and production sound really good. Nice bass sound!

Frank - thanks for listening and commenting - production compliments coming from you is praise indeed. Glad you liked.
Warren - thanks for your ears and kind words. The arrangement is not a million miles from the original, so I can't take too much credit for that, but it was fun to do and I always find that I learn something from doing a cover.
Kev - thanks to you too - especially for vocal comments - I'm well aware of my limitations in that respect and not the most confident, but I do believe that the kind words and encouragement of the good folks in these parts have made me better. Not seen you around so much of late - guess you've been busy in that fantastic new studio of yours. Very envious of that !
Scotty - thanks for listening - glad it's coming across well - I was trying to achieve something a lot more dynamic than usual for this.

Nice tune. I hear the distortion folks are talking about but I personally like it! There's a LOT of high frequency stuff in this. You might consider toning the highs down just a bit. I like the tune and the arrangement.

This is a great song and production. Great vocals. You should listen with cans the song you posted. It is all left heavy. Maybe your busses were not all going out the mains? I would love to hear this fixed. I think this is great.

Wow - didn't expect this to be back on the first page again.......... remix as per previous posts feedback is up now. Ian - Thanks for listening and commenting - I already did as you suggested in the tweaked version - hopefully better. Rimshot - Thanks for the ears and very positive comments - I could hear what people were saying about the imbalance, just didn't know why as panning all looked ok. Hopefully sussed it now - settings gone astray on a channel tools plugin - hopefully sorted now.
