Audio editing newb needs help with sample looping

Hi folks, I've been using Sonar for years, mainly for midi editing. I'm starting to take a stab with the audio editing features in 8.5 and X1 producer. I have a real need for it now. Here's the deal. I have a hw synth (Kurzweil K2661) and I need to sample one of its sounds so I can create a multi-layered setup. It's a long story, so let's focus on Sonar. I sampled a clip into Sonar from my synth and am trying to find a natural looping point. There are LFO effects on the clip which make this a challenge as there are no 2 points with close enough high/low shelf + LFO phase points to loop on without hearing a subtle bump at the loop point. I've been able to get close, but it is still noticeable. Hope that makes sense. Is there some hidden feature that will add something like an envelope to the beginning or end of the sample that will normalize the loop point? I don't need tempo, pitch & that stuff, just a seamless as possible loop point to sample back into my synth. Thanks, - Doug -- Nothing is impossible if ImPossible
