how to divide up content on new install

I've just installed a second HD on my computer and completely reinstalled everything. One drive is for OS and software, the second is for content. After installing X1, should I go through the subfolders in, say, Rapture and DimPro and move all the audio content to the second drive? Or should I just leave it where it is and move over the things that X1 gives me the option to move when installing? What about something like Garritan Personal Orchestra? I'm assuming it's best to move all those samples to the second drive?

You are generally better off with all audio & samples on separate drives. However I'm not sure just moving samples will work with programs like DimPro and Rapture as it may well write a path to those samples on install.

It's not something I've tried. I guess you can try it and if anything complains move them back, or alternatively someone else on here with more knowledge may well know the answer.
