Dead Covers Project "Friend of the Devil"
Hi All, Posted this Video on youtube for the Dead Covers project. Whipped it out in Sonar X1e, nothing special really done in the mixing or mastering department. Looking for a couple "likes" in youtube if you have account there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JIceMON4lI Thanks

I like your video very much. This has long been one of my favorite Dead songs. Your version of this song rocks well enough, though I felt that the lead vocal seemed to have fuzz over the mic. Maybe a little tube saturation? The fuzz tone guitar solo was unexpected, but the performance was good. All in all, you took a chance and I applaud you.

Thanks Lynn, No tube saturation but a bit of compression on the vocal using an SM7 no eq

Love the perky bass, this is a very good cover. Vocalist sounds like Chuck Mead in a very good way! cheers, -Tom

That's a great idea for a video, doing the paper cut-outs thing... Brilliant. And the song is pretty good too
