Home Studio 2 Default to Mono

I'm using a SB 5.1 sound card but when you open cakewalk a message window appers saying that one or more of your sound cards does not support stereo, setting default to mono. This kinda sucks because when you lay down more than one track,on play back you can only listen to one at a time.I've looked in Xp's control panel and found the audio settings are all functioning properly, but there isn't an option to convert to stereo or mono there.I wonder if anyone else has experienced this same problem.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Check previous posts. I think there is a new driver you have to download to make the Creative board stereo. I never had that problem, so I don't know the details.

Thanks for the tip,but after poking around on this forum and seeing a few others with similar problems,I went to creatives website to download any updates.According to their site my computer already had the updates installed.Puzzled by this I went into the control panel option and found that you can access the driver properties. It was there that I saw the option to update the SB driver and the problem was sovled. I hope that this can help someone with the same issue.

    Thanks again,
    Chris
