You have a lot of "jazz chords" in your arsenal.

    Very nice.

I need to drag out my Mickey Baker Jazz books and learn a few more new chords.

I had, at one time, a chord book with over 5000 chords, in various positions on the neck and in numerous inversions.... that was back in the days when I had time to actually learn lots of chords..... someone else thought they needed it more and stole it.

    Hi Mike ,
the Ted Greene books take a lot of commitment .
I think I still have one around here.
I'm glad my adaption of the  tune was something you enjoyed

    Sweet.. I enjoyed that.
    Hi Vettetech,
thank you for the listen. I 'm pleased  you enjoyed my playing

Really nice kenny. Great arrangement and superb playing.
Man, you've got some big hands:)

    Hi Timothy,
A lot of this arrangement presented itself to me during my little practice session yesterday .
I went from practicing to hey I better try to make a video while I'm still in the groove
    Big hands ?
when I took a closer look at the video I realized that my right hand was about as big as Hellboys

now you know why I kept it hidden

the truth is my hands are medium sized .......
we can thank the camera angle  for that distortion

I'm happy you enjoyed my guitar playing on Over The Rainbow

    I'll be back soon .

    Kenny

Great chordal arrangement.  This is one I enjoy doing fingerstyle as well, although I don't do it as well as you.  Very nice.. very.

    Hi Warren,
hey I feel you loud and clear bro.
I know all about getting derailed and sidetracked
During my very first guitar lesson as a child the teacher asked me what I wanted to learn .
I told him all I wanted to learn was how to play Secret Agent Man on the guitar .
the guy looked over the top of his glasses, shook his head , got up off his chair and came back with the Mickey Baker book 1 and a clarinet book of Etudes
one of these days I'm gonna have to find him and thank him for that

I'm real happy you enjoyed my playing on Over The Rainbow

If I remember correctly, 'Secret Agent Man' was quite the accomplishment. And then, there was Pipeline and 'Walk don't Run' to conquer.

    Regards

    Hi markno999,
I'm glad you enjoyed the performance

    Hi whack,
I was going for a reflective dreamy longing type of vibe while I was playing this .
I'm glad the vibe of the tune came across as peaceful

Great chordal arrangement.  This is one I enjoy doing fingerstyle as well, although I don't do it as well as you.  Very nice.. very.

    Daryl

    Hi Daryl,
The nice thing about this chordal arrangement is every time I've played this song using a variation of this arrangement ,
folks of all ages including young children knew what song I was playing ..
nobody has ever asked me if I was done tuning my guitar after hearing this
hey , you could play this .....I can see to that , once I have a transcription for you ...
I tell you what Daryl ,
since we are friends I will even leave the Wes Thumb out of this
I've grow accustomed to the thought that you have a much more stable environment to bring to the table for the Wes Thumb
just remember me when you start playing and doing shows w all them country and western  guys ......I'm glad you enjoyed

    Hi Robby ,
    thank you

    Hi Gary,
thank you for such positive reinforcement
I have a feeling you could play this

    ohgrant

Wonderful thanks. I'll certainly have to hear that more than once. Masterful work!
    Hi Grant ,
thank you for being so kind

    timidi

If I remember correctly, 'Secret Agent Man' was quite the accomplishment. And then, there was Pipeline and 'Walk don't Run' to conquer.

    Hi Timothy,
yes it is true , 'Secret Agent Man' was some happening stuff back then....
Aye Caramba , I still dont know how to play that one
I'm gonna have to tackle that one after I learn The Pink Panther

holey smokes I finally caught up
I'm always afraid to do that cause "gulp"... now my thread is gonna slip into oblivion

    Kenny
