A seven song EP - Too Much, Too Young
I just released a seven song EP on the Android Market. You can listen twice for free to each track in truly high quality streaming audio. Any feedback on the collection, or individual tracks, would be appreciated here. I am playing everything but the strings and drums. Most songs were begun on Sonar 4, and completed on X1. Steve, I listened to the first two songs, and found that the styles fit together quite well. The production sounds clean and balanced. However, the first two songs didn't come out and grab me, making me want to go on. Your voice has a nice quality and texture, but I couldn't feel the fire or passion in your voice enough to sell me on the lyrics. I've heard other songs by you that were more engaging, but as I said, I didn't listen to all of them. One doesn't have to have the greatest voice in the world, but delivery is a key element to making any vocal shine. I want to feel that you believe in your words. I will listen to the other songs later, and I may change my opinion. All in all, a good and ambitious effort.

I appreciate the thoughts, Lynn. My voice is not terribly powerful, so passion is a quality I don't exude readily. I was always the guitarist in bands, not the singer. Again, thanks.

Hi Steve Something is wrong with the playback sonically. Audio is buzzing and guitars are not clear. I am jumping around the song forum and your audio is not as clear as others on my iPad. I don't think it is my system. Did you check out all audio after uploading? I heard this issue on first three songs. Did not go further. Wish I could define this better. Rimshot

Rimshot I've not heard the audio issues you are describing, and I've listened to the complete set a few times. I do sometimes notice a sudden change in volume at song start, or maybe an overlap, but no buzzing or missing instruments.

Just a note to let you know - if you are unable to reach the Android Market, I am working on a page at ReverbNation and will post a notice as soon as everything is in the pocket for streaming. My apologies to anyone who can't hear my songs due to this unfortunate circumstance. It will be remedied soon. <edit> The page is live on ReverbNation now. I do wish their streaming audio was higher quality. If you can, please go to the Android Market page. It sounds so much better.

market.android.com is available but your 'app' has regional/geographical restrictions set. mister6 Are you saying https://market.android.com/ is not available outside the US, or just my link directly to the EP?
