Mouse wheel configuration in SONAR 4..?
I'm still waiting for my Sonar 4 upgrade and I have one more thing to run by you guys. Ok, so it might be petty, but it's a HUUUGE annoyance in Sonar 3. In my huge templates i'm scrolling through a lot of tracks all the time. Up and down in the sequence. I love the mouse wheel, but Sonar will only scroll by ONE TRACK for each mouse wheel "click". Has this been made configurable in Sonar 4? it would be a blessing to be able to set the mouse wheel to scroll by 1-30 tracks at a time, depending on the size of your project. This should be a VERY easy implementation for cakewalk too. If this hasn't been fixed for SONAR 4, then I humbly ask for its addition in the first update! Thanks.

Hmm, my mouse scrolls by the setting in Windows, so when I use the wheel, it scrolls the tracks pretty fast. Both S3 and S4, btw. Maybe your mouse driver isn't setup right?

This is a known problem to Cakewalk and you will have to wait until Sonar5 is released to fix the problem...

If this hasn't been fixed for SONAR 4, then I humbly ask for its addition in the first update! I have been asking for this since CWPA9. It will NOT happen from what I understand. I do gree that it needs to follow the windows standard as it is set in the scroll wheel options. Maybe you can set the scroll wheel to 'Page Down' as it's primary function.

Obviously I've tried all the mouse driver settings that windows allows me to tweak. Sonar just won't adhere to the windows standard. I don't know why, but it's a major PITA and it slows down my work flow considerably!

I don't know why, but it's a major PITA and it slows down my work flow considerably! That is why I have resolved to use the scroll bar on the right to advance my TV pages at a time. It would be more convenient to follow the setting on the mouse wheel though.

No need to wait for Sonar 5, it's already fixed in Sonar 3. See my other post below...
