SONAR 4 Web Demo Now Available

If you’re new to SONAR, or considering an upgrade, you can now download the SONAR 4 Web Demo and experience SONAR 4 Producer Edition for yourself!

English, French and German Web Demos are now available from http://www.cakewalk.com/download.

Please note the Web Demo does not time out, but has a few general restrictions (see the website for more details):

• Saving, exporting, and bouncing audio and MIDI data is disabled
  
• The TTS-1 synth beeps every 10 seconds, is limited to 1 output, and stops playing after 10 minutes
  
• You may render audio via Freeze, non-WAV importing (MP3/WMA, etc.), or Apply Audio Effects, but the rendering process will produce a gap of silence every 5 seconds.
  

Please note: on 10/12/04 we posted a new Web Demo that no longer causes problems with existing installations of the Sonitus:fx Equalizer and DSP-FX plug-ins. If you are having trouble re-registering these plug-ins please see this knowledgebase article. We further recommend that you uninstall the previous SONAR 4 Web Demo before installing the latest version.
