Just picked up EZ mix 2 for $109 and 4 expansion packs @ $29 each................audiodeluxe is awesome!

Good price, but 'awesome' in my book is to have the 4 expansion packs thrown in for free.

Thank for the input.  I re-installed Nashville EZX and the mixer is working correctly.  Thanks again for helping me diagnose this.

American, here I come.

I am not intrested in electronic drums, and I dont have Claustraphobic and Funk Masters yet.

I am not sure I would find a use for Claustraphobic, the demos sound a bit artifical and over processed for my taste, and that sort of processed sound seems to be somthing BFD Eco does very well.

Funk masters sounds like it could be very versatile and fit in to other styles pretty well.

Any comments on these two

Your inclinations are correct.  Claustrophobic is kind of a one trick pony.  But when you need it...it's very good.

I don't like claustrophobic and the metalheads one quickly got on my nerves.......I bought 5 EZX packs that I didn't have, the last one being Twisted Kit......that is really cool! Reminds me of when I recorded with Dion for a CBS sitcom in the 90's...the drummer played his drum cases, lol.....very doo wop

Yeah, it is at all the stores. I am wondering if I should get Nashville or Americana, I am leaning toward Americana...

Any thoughts? I am not a metal guy. mostly blues rock, and country fried acoustic.

A couple of days ago, I ordered both Nashville and Americana.  They will definitely find use in the toolbox.

Because of these great prices, last night I went on and ordered Classic EZX, Vintage Rock EZX and also New York Studios Vol 2.  A word of warning, audiodeluxe.com does not do electronic delivery of New York Studios because it is a SDX and it defaults to box shipment (I already had the CD's and just needed the serial numbers).  So I got two electronic deliveries today but have to wait for NY Studios to arrive in the post, but for this price it will be worth the wait.

While I love the tone of my SSD4, I find that Toontrack has nailed down these vintage, classic simpler sets.  I am just amazed with Americana and Nashville.  They are simple, understated, yet perfect for what they are intended to do.

Both it is and at this price for the rest of the month I'll likely get more. How to resist??

Just a reminder. I,too, have just about all of the expansions mentioned. If you do any sort of music that calls for percussion instruments, congas, shakers, timbales, etc. The Latin Percussion is a must as there are no percussion instruments in any of the standard drum expansions. I usually have to run one instance of Superior Drummer for the kit and another on a separate track for percussion. It is a very nice selection for the money. Just thought Iwould mention it.

Sonar Platinum, Sonar X3e, Sonar X2a , Sonar X1 Expanded and 8.5.3 (32 and 64 bit), Windows 10 on a Toshiba P75-A7200 Laptop with i7 @ 2.4 quad and 8 gigs of RAM and secondary WD 1 Tb drive, Windows 10 desktop, Asus i5 @ 3.2 quad, 12 gigs RAM, 1 Tb drive, 1 500 gig drive, MOTU 24io, 2 Roland Studio Captures, Saffire 6 USB for laptop, Soundtracs Topaz Project 8 mixer, Alesis Monitor 2s, Event BAS 20/20s, Roland Micro-Monitor BA-8s, and 45 years worth of collecting FX, Mics, Amps, Guitars, and Keyboards!

Thanks Sidroe!  I have been looking at Latin Percussion and thought it might be useful for some Latin Jazz and Bossanova style jazz.  I assume it comes with some midi files, but I was uncertain about its midi mappings.  I have some bossa style midi drum files somewhere and wonder how easy it would be to use/adapt them for this EZX.  From your experience does it work/adapt well to lets say midi jazz drum parts?  Could one for example take a bossanova style Jazz midi drum part and use it to drive the Latin Percussion EZX?

Sorry I didn't catch that one before. I guess see that you got your stuff by now. FWIW, when dealing w/ AudioDeluxe, it's usually been pretty quick.  Longest I've had to wait was 8 or 9 hours - for an order placed on a Sunday afternoon here, so early morning there. The latest order I placed on a regular business day, it only took 2 hours or so before I received the e-mail w/ all the info.
