Rain,
There's many knowledgeable Nebula users out there but at this point I don't happen to be one of them.
You may want to check their forums & get a feel for how it works & operates since it's not a typical setup.
After all I've read over the years about the pros/ cons I tried the demo a few weeks ago. I ended up getting the Neb Pro bundle, along with a few 3rd party consoles, preamps, reverbs, powered buss, eq's. It definitely has a learning curve but I'm not finding that it's as taxing on my system as I thought it would be.
I usually use many tracks in a project & mix groups to submixes so I'm used to that type of workflow anyways.
You do need to wrap your head around the way it operates i.e. using an e.q. you need to insert a separate instance for each freq.. That freaked me out the first time I heard that but now it's not a big deal, I just use fx chains..
I do like the results that I'm getting with certain eq's, preamps, consoles. IMO the 3rd party programs are more usable than the factory ones. AlexB, signaltonoise, AITB are all outstanding. I use a combo of Nebula & my other vsts in my projects- so far, so good.
Typically I don't think Nebula works well with compressor programs in general so I'll be reading user comments on this new one myself.
