Loser (Pop/Punk)

I've now formed a band, SKYWAY AVENUE :) We're at http://skywayavenuemusic.com and we'll be recording the debut single for our album with Incubus, Something Corporate and Elliot Minor's producer, Jim Wirt! The whole record should be out by the end of the year and we'll be touring extensively this summer to build up some hype for it.

But for now, I thought I'd post a demo I've been working on - the idea being that if we have 20 or some listenable demos available we can chose the 14 we wants to record, 11 for the record and 3 B-Sides.

Anyway, less blabbing, more listening! Enjoy

Very nice recording.  First class production all the way.  The song broke no new ground, but it has a commercial sound which should be very popular in today's market.  Good luck with the album and the tour.

    All the best,

The first few words seemed compressed off and could use a gain ride.

Sounds great otherwise, though the "loser" word could be a bit more prominent.

For what this functions as, a demo, I just want the words audible basically, when it comes to the real album, that's when I'm handing over mixing + mastering to someone else - just easier and less hats to wear!

I like it Mike!  Nice production.  Good luck with everything bro.

Ya know at one point you (after listening to this I am pretty sure it was you)  who posted a song, well part of a song called "you"  which I listened to and commented on here, I liked it too.  When I listened my computer imported that into Itunes somehow and thus I have 2/3rds of the song on my ipod and it comes up every now and then.  I'd love to get the whole track from you cause it's catchy as sh!t!

    Nice work here.

Catchy tune Mike!  Best of luck on this.  Drums sounded too compressed to me.  Sounds like a T.V. title song.

    Cool song Mike!

Love the attitude and the overall in-your-face feel.

The song has a modern pop/punk vibe, but if I'm not mistaken I can hear a bit of Buzzcocks influence in there.

Really good song!   It is played and mixed very professionally.  I really like the song, Mike.  That's where it starts for me. Nice vocals.
