New Instrumental Tune

Here is a little tune that I am goofing with this week. I play all instruments and record in my little bedroom studio. Does the mix sound pretty decent? I may or may not add in some more stuff. What do you think?

Thanks!

Very interesting tune.  Normally long guitar solos lose my attention, but this one had several changes that held my interest.  The mix and tones of the guitar are very nice.  I could use another element or two, but can stand on its own.  Nice job.

    All the best,

That was fun to listen to.

Mix wise, you have the kick right, the bass has plenty of high register intelligibility but  it's M.I.A. on the bottom end.

I also think that the drum kit is a bit too bright and the snare could use a little beef around 350-500 hZ.  You could probably take care of both those issues with a single EQ on the drum bus.

GREAT tune. I agree with Jsaras the drums need more mid and low end. EXCELLENT guitar work.  KUDOS!

Cool tone.  What are you running through?  Nice chops.

    Cool and Thanks!

Is it any better?  Click the same link as you clicked before, above.

I tried to boost the kick and snare with some more bottom end. I seem like the snappy sounding kick more than a real deep kick sound, and I like the snare to crack.

I tore my Fuzz Face apart and installed a guitar tone pot in it. So I am running the Fuzz Face and a Plexitube pedal into a Bugera and Laney amp, stereo. Then I did a bunch of eq tweaking to get a honky type tone for the lead.

Here is a pretty boring video that I made, but it shows my tone control.
It is really easy. It is wired just like a one pickup guitar. (Volume, Tone, and Fuzz Level)
